Tony Thomas is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and holds a Th. B. from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He has been in ministry for over 30 year and has served in pastoral ministries in Illinois, Missouri and Arkansas in Church of God, independent and Assemblies of God Churches. He currently serves at the Velvet Ridge (Arkansas) Church of God as a ministry team pastor, teacher and missions director.

Pastor Thomas teaches that every believer should participate in world evangelism. As a "friend of missions" he encourages churches and individual believers to follow through with Jesus' command to "go into all the world" through their prayers and financial giving and by encouraging those who are on the front line of missionary work. It is only when believers understand the larger picture of the Kingdom of God that world evangelism can flourish as God intended.

His book "Every Nation Under Heaven" (Derek Press) was written over the course of several years as God formulated a vision in his heart to encourage Christians to personally participate in missions. He encourages churches and believers to catch the larger vision of the church's overall mission so they can more effectively participate locally, regionally and globally in the Great Commission.
